In a few months’ time, Medical Museion will open its exhibition The World is in You at Kunsthal Charlottenborg in September 2021. Combining art, science, and history, the show is an experiment in how we can consider our body’s material entanglement in the world.
Bringing a Medical Museion approach to a contemporary art gallery like Kunsthal Charlottenborg comes with opportunities and challenges. Will stories of science and medicine find enthusiastic new audiences, or feel out of place? Will our medical history loving audience be open to contemporary art? They are things the exhibition team think about all the time – but we hope that what we are creating will be a new and exciting blend of disciplines, approaches, and materials which will create a unique experience for everyone.
In order to help us make the exhibition the best it can be, we need your help! We have created an online survey for our visitors to let us know what fascinates you, what you want to hear more about, and what would make you want to visit The World is in You. The results of the survey will help us as we put the finishing touches on the show.
