Open call for master’s projects: Patient and public perspectives on the future of stem cell treatments

You have the opportunity to write your master’s thesis as part of the research group PREPARE—a social sciences and humanities theme of the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Research. Our research interests relate broadly to patient and public perspectives on the development and communication of stem cell treatments.

You might be interested in exploring the language used by biotech companies or the media to portray the biomedical potentials of stem cells; you might be interested in how patient associations or patients perceive movements towards clinical trials with stem cells; or you might have other project ideas for how to approach issues around stem cell treatments in your master’s thesis.

You have the opportunity to develop your own project and discuss it with experienced researchers. You will also be invited to our international research group meetings, with the possibility of participating in a global student network across the group.

We supervise in Danish and/or English.
