Medical Museion is pleased to announce that Martin Gerster Johansen has been appointed as the new head of programming & communications and will start on May 1st.
Martin Gerster Johansen comes from a position as head of exhibitions at the newly opened ENIGMA – Museum for Communication. He was a key figure in the museum’s transformation from Post & Tele Museum in Købmagergade to the new ENIGMA on Østerbro in Copenhagen.
Martin Gerster Johansen holds a master’s degree in Danish and a master’s degree in Crossmedia Communication, both from the University of Copenhagen.
“Medical Museion is incredibly inspiring, and I am very excited to be part of it. I am a great admirer of the hybrid method that the museum has developed, where research, collection, and art create surprising connections between disciplines,” said Martin Gerster Johansen.
