For Culture Night 2016 at Medical Museion we made a poetic survey in collaboration with the author Merete Helle Pryds, which questioned peoples understandings of the relationship between feelings, body, food and digestion. As a part of the survey we asked people to draw where in the body they experience their emotions. We received 435 answers with many interesting reflections about the complex relationship between mind and gut. The answers show that people experience emotions in many places in the entire body, not the least in the gut. The Christmas card shows the result.
We continue with our investigation of the connection between gut and mind, and 2017 and we are looking forward to welcome you when the exhibition opens in September.
Meanwhile we wish you all a merry Christmas, a great new year and many happy gut feelings!
Christmas greetings from the Mind the Gut project!
