My work at the Medical Museion
As a physician, I have helped with medical questions, with the identification of objects from the collections and with the preparation of exhibitions. Beside that, I have been studying late 18th century texts about repiration and metabolism.

My background
I was born in 1943. From 1970 to 2004 I worked as a hospital physician, mainly within the speciality of rheumatology. About 1992 the history of medicine became my hobby which resulted in several articles about the history of rheumatology, about late 18th century medicine and about the introduction of hormones as therapeutics in Denmark in the period 1930 to 1960. In 2005 I became associated with the Medical Museion as a volunteer.

Other information
I am a board member of The Danish Medical History Society for which I have arranged excursions to places of medical history interest.
