Share Your Experience on Diabetes Diagnosis and Monitoring

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to receive a diabetes diagnosis? Or how individuals monitor their condition? We find ourselves at a pivotal point in understanding and treating type 2 diabetes. Medical Museion aims to compile narratives from people with type 2 diabetes and their relatives for an insightful research project and inclusion in our museum collection. To achieve this, we are hosting a writing workshop where participants are encouraged to share their experiences.

The workshop will commence with a discussion, utilizing objects from our handling collection to stimulate conversation. We will conclude the event with a guided tour of our exhibitions.

Practical Information:

  • Date and Time: Saturday, March 16, from 10:00 to 15:00. We will provide coffee, breakfast, and lunch for all participants.
  • Location: Medical Museion, Bredgade 62, 1260 Copenhagen K
